Lisa Rosenberg is a poet, essayist, and former space program engineer trained as a physicist. Since 2019, she has delivered public talks, workshops, and essays addressing process and systems skills essential to integrative and ecological thinking. She is the author of Weeds and Stars (The Word Works, 2026) and A Different Physics (2018), poetry collections that reflect decades of polydisciplinary inquiry. She served as the second Poet Laureate of San Mateo County, California, and has been recognized by a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, MOSAIC America Fellowship, and Leonardo@Djerassi Residency. Her prose spans literary craft, satire, science, and memoir. Her poems center interconnectedness across nature, culture, and perceived extremes—from the fantastic to the mundane, the subatomic to the celestial—appearing in Terrain, POETRY, Plume, The Threepenny Review, and numerous other journals and anthologies. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and lives part-time in Ilia, Greece.
