We are celebrating Women’s History Month with seven talented readers sharing their riveting works and new releases. The lineup includes a mix of fiction and non-fiction, with readings by Savala Nolan, June Martin, Lee Ann Prescott, Marianna Marlowe, Elizabeth Svoboda, Eirinie Carson, and Nina Schuyler. Audrey Ferber will emcee. There will be a Q&A session, giving the audience the chance to interact with the readers. Additionally, this month's theme colors are purple, green, and white. To join the celebration, please wear one of these colors. As always, snacks and drinks, including non-alcoholic options such as juice and sparkling water, will be provided. The Writers Grotto is looking for a part-time registrar and administrator for our Classes Program and general administration. Could this be you?? Classes are one of the Grotto's most important programs, both in terms of revenue and in terms of building community within the Grotto and outside it. We are bringing on a part-time registrar to help administer this program, who'll facilitate day-to-day operations and support the teachers and Programming team. The position entails about 15-20 hours per week of work, reports to a Board member and works closely with the Programming team and the Grotto's Classes Committee. The main responsibility of the Classes Registrar & Administrative Manager is to ensure the smooth operation of the Classes Program so that the Grotto can continue to offer a robust slate of classes and other opportunities to the public. This is an hourly contract position, for someone with experience in arts administration, academic administration, and/or teaching, and includes full membership benefits at the Writers Grotto.
