Nate Olivarez-Giles
http://nateog.comNate O-G is a fiction writer focused on stories that explore themes of race, class, masculinity, sexuality, climate change and chicano futurism. Nate is an MFA student at University of San Francisco (class of 2027). In 2025 he was a member of the One Story Magazine Writing Circle and in 2024 he was a 3rd Space by Roots Wounds Words Fiction Fellow. Over the last two decades, Nate has worked in journalism and technology at the Arizona Daily Star, Los Angeles Times, Wired, The Verge, The Wall Street Journal, TWiT and Apple Inc. He was a James Reston Fellow at The New York Times in 2008.
