Jenny Qi is the author of Focal Point (2021), winner of the 2020 Steel Toe Books Poetry Award. Her essays and poems have been published in The New York Times, Tin House, Rattle, ZYZZYVA, and elsewhere. A 2020 Grotto Fellow, she has also received fellowships & awards from Tin House, Omnidawn, and Kearny Street Workshop. She co-hosted the science storytelling podcast Bone Lab Radio. She has a PhD in Cancer Biology from UCSF.
