Regina Thomas is an author based in Pacifica, CA. She is a 2024 Rooted & Written fellow. Her work has been published in The Courtship of Winds, Packingtown Review, The Penmen Review, A Gathering Together, Across the Margin and Press Pause Press. Her mission statement as a writer is to create the sort of works that were missing from the bookshelves when she was a young Black girl in Kentucky always maxing out her checkout limit at the local library.
