Anna Nordberg is a writer in San Francisco. For ten years she worked as an editor at InStyle, Cookie, and Sunset, covering fashion, food, travel, health, and parenting before going freelance. A few years ago she started going through the unpublished writing and journals of her mother, also a writer, who died when Anna was a teenager. She’s now working on a memoir about becoming a mother without her mom, looking at the way loss unfolds throughout a life. Anna’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, OZY, and Sunset.
