Dreamcraft: Using Your Dreams To Guide Your Writing with Jenny Bitner

*CANCELLED* SUNDAYS, JULY 9th - AUG. 20th* |Have you always had an interest in your dreams? Would you like to learn how to use your dreams to enrich your writing?

You will start by learning how to remember your dreams more deeply, then you will learn a group technique to enrich and gather information from your dreams. Jenny will guide you into hypnosis and yoga nidra (a yoga of the mind) to have experiences in the hypnagogic state, the twilight zone between waking and dreaming. There will be class readings of literature influenced by dreams and trance. You will learn techniques to use your dreams as prompts for writing and to guide your writing. Each class will be an informative combination of dreamwork and writing. Journey into your own mythic landscape and discover new ways to write from your deep unconscious.

*No class on Sunday, July 23rd.

Asynchronous learning materials for this class will be available online (via the Wet Ink platform). Scheduled class sessions will take place via Zoom. Registered students, please contact the instructor directly for Zoom details. Instructor contact details can be found in the order confirmation email.
